Random Things that Bother Me About the Rhoden Murders
It seems so odd to me how many family members insist the Rhoden family was not involved in drugs. Why keep insisting this when it has been proven beyond a doubt that they were? BJM has said in interviews that "she never saw any drugs" feeding the animals and being around the homes.
The same as been said about various other family members. But come on if you have even a small marijuana grow operation; you are involved in drugs. And there was evidence of cock fighting at the scene. Which often goes hand in hand with drug dealing. And let's face it Pike County is known as a drug area.
They never deserved to die the way they did. But in solving a mystery you have to have a true picture of what was going on in everyone's lives.
Another thing that bothers me is the dogs. Many have said that someone probably threw the dogs some steak to keep them quiet. I don't believe that for a second. Most dogs (especially at a known drug location) are trained to only accept food from certain people. The 2 rottweilers that were kept int he trailer were known to be VISCIOUS. In my opinion whoever killed the family knew the dogs and knew them well.
The 911 call made by BJM bothers me a lot. First she says only "her brother in law is dead". Its not until much later in the call that she says GR is also dead. She never says that she also went into the next trailer and got the 3 year old out and saw his dad dead. She never once mentions that she took 3 babies out of 2 trailers. Which to me would be huge! These poor babies were covered in blood.
As I mentioned earlier she takes the time to explain that the door was locked but she had a key. Most people call 911 to get help. Immediate help. They don't explain about locked doors and keys. Also at the end of the call there is a muffled statement that I can't make out (but is in one of the rambling rose poems) and then at the very end someone clearly says "Good Job!". Sounds like a female to me but could be male. Now her friends were with her which she also never mentions to the 911 operator.
Also there is an issue of missing time. When she was taken in for questioning LE did not believe her timeline. She got there at 7 am to feed the animals but doesn't call 911 until 7:49 .So what happened in between?? LM has said that LE accused her of lying about what time she went there.
LE also says she lied about text messages she sent to her sister DR that night. Whoever did the murders took all the dead family members phones. But they didn't understand that LE could still search their phones and find messages.
Another oddity is that many of the other family members were posting all over Facebook and various forums. None seemed scared at all to give their locations etc. I would have been petrified and would not have been posting anywhere.
