Who are the Wagners

The Wagner family was very close to the Rhoden family. Well for awhile anyway. They lived approximately 15 mins from the Rhodens. Jake Wagner (JW) had a daughter with HR named Sophia. They did have a rather big custody battle but it has been said that ended before the murders.

I have also read that there was a lot of discussion over whether HR's newborn baby was JW's. I believe a paternity test was done after the murders and he was not the father. Also of note is that SW was supposed to be with HR the night of the murders. But for some reason she had JW pick the baby up at 10:30 pm.

There has been a ton of innuendo about Facebook posts made by JW both before and after the murders. Since I have not seen them myself that is all I will say.

The Wagner family has been a target of Dewines ever since the murders. In fact, Dewine said he was "laser focused" on the Wagner family. The entire family up and moved to Alaska which caused a huge stir in Ohio. I still remember the Facebook messages Dewine put out wanting info on the Wagner family. Poor police in Alaska were flooded with 911 calls.

Recently another Wagner family member's farm (Flying W Farm) was searched by law enforcement along with another property. Flying W Farm is located in Pike County. Fredricka Wagner (owner of Flying W Farm) is said to be the grandmother of JW.

Rhoden Property Not Secured in Warehouse

Things are not looking good for Reader that is for sure. Why would they go to all the trouble and money to secure all the Rhoden property in a warehouse; and then leave it unsecured? The gate was unlocked during the entire time they watched the warehouse. No guards, no lock on the gate.  So is the evidence now ruined? If they go to trial can they use evidence out of the trailers? Wagner Family Arrested for Rhoden Murders

Finally. The 4 Wagner family members have been arrested for the Rhoden murders. And Fredricka Wagner was arrested for lying to the grand jury and helping the cover up. I feel sure she will get bail soon given her age and her ability to pay. I also feel they will use her to get the others to plea out. Pike County can't afford 4 death penalty trials. I feel they only put the death penalty on the table to get them to plea Its a happy day though! I think many are still discounting how much drugs played a part in this. I do feel the main motive was child custody; but I still feel like they had "business" dealings together that went wrong. Jealousy, control, greed--they all played a part.
